Step 1
Slide the tip of the horn under the topband of the compression garment.
Step 2
Now push the handle gently downwards. The front end of the horn slides down over your calf to your heel.
The inner surface of the horn should be in contact with your skin the whole time.
At the same time, the compression garment is pushed downward with the help of the "notch".
To restore contact with your skin, you can pull the horn back up again if necessary and then continue with the downward movement.
Step 3
As soon as you have reached the heel, raise your heel. Now tilt the handle slightly downwards so you can guide the horn along the sole of your foot.
Important: Makes sure you do not press the compression garment against the floor with the doffing aid. Otherwise there is a risk of damaging the garment.
Now push the handle gently forwards. This slips the stocking off your foot, but it stays on the horn.
Step 4
Now you can take the compression garment off the horn without having to bend down.
Use as a shoehorn:
Place the lower end of the horn (not more than 1-2 cm) between the shoe and the sole of your foot.
Push your foot downwards. Thanks to the ergonomic shape of the horn your foot slides effortlessly into the shoe!
